A 4x6 recipe card (landscape) is 152.4 x 101.6 mm. The sheet is F4, 210 x 330 mm, a built-in preset in FitPrint. What the status line says

With 3 4x6 recipe cards (landscape) in the list, FitPrint's status line reads exactly "3 items · 1 F4 sheet". Add one more and it reads "4 items · 2 F4 sheets": the extra item starts a new sheet rather than shrinking anything.

How to lay this out in FitPrint

  1. Drag your files in. Open FitPrint and drag your 4x6 recipe card (landscape) files onto the window. Each file appears in the list with its size in the caption.
  2. Choose the F4 sheet. Click F4 in the sheet preset grid. FitPrint then lays the items out on a 210 x 330 mm sheet.

  6. Export and print at actual size. Click Export PDF, then set Scale to 100 percent and Pages per Sheet to 1 in the print dialog so nothing re-scales the exported file.
