What the status line says

With 12 2x3 photos (landscape) in the list, FitPrint's status line reads exactly "12 items · 1 Legal sheet". Add one more and it reads "13 items · 2 Legal sheets": the extra item starts a new sheet rather than shrinking anything.

How to lay this out in FitPrint

  1. Drag your files in. Open FitPrint and drag your 2x3 photo (landscape) files onto the window. Each file appears in the list with its size in the caption.
  2. Choose the Legal sheet. Click Legal in the sheet preset grid. FitPrint then lays the items out on a 216 x 356 mm sheet.
  3. Keep scaling on Original size. Original size places every item at 100 percent, so a printed item measures exactly what the file says it measures.

  6. Export and print at actual size. Click Export PDF, then set Scale to 100 percent and Pages per Sheet to 1 in the print dialog so nothing re-scales the exported file.
